Making Happy Things logo

This is a happy place.

Welcome! This is where colour, creativity, and comfort come together. A cheerful corner of the internet filled with handmade joy and feel-good things to make or wear.

What is Slow Fashion, and Why?

Slow fashion is thoughtful and intentional.

It’s about choosing handmade pieces crafted with care.

Each piece is made slow and gentle.

Stitched with joy, made to be loved, and never in excess.

One-of-a-kind

There’s something special about knowing you’re the only person in the world with that dress.

My one-of-a-kind pieces are created from vintage, upcycled, or deadstock fabrics - rescued treasures that I carefully piece together in my studio. No two are ever quite the same.

Each dress carries a story, stitched with thought and heart. A little magic, made just for one.

Made to order

Alongside my one-of-a-kinds, I also design small seasonal collections using a made-to-order model.

That means I only make what’s truly wanted - no overproduction, no excess stock, no landfill piles or discount racks.

When you order, your piece is made especially for you. It’s slower, yes - but worth the wait.

Because clothing should go straight to someone who loves it, not sit waiting on a shelf.
